BorgWarner entered China market and established the first joint venture transmission company in Beijing in 1993. Nowadays, all of business units (7 business units) of BorgWarner Group have entered China including Turbo Systems, Morse, Thermal Systems, Emissions Systems, Transmission Systems and Torque Transfer Systems. BorgWarner now runs 8 production facilities, and establishes BorgWarner (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, with a total of 2,300 employees.
